本部分對話內容較長,如果一課時完成,學生會感覺很吃力,所以可將此對話分為三部分進行教學:
第一部分為引言部分,交代對話的背景;第二部分為liu tao向媽媽要一些寫信的材料,準備給寫信;第三部分為liu tao向媽媽介紹peter的主要情況,并和媽媽討論回信的內容。
本教時安排如下:本部分生詞及對話第一、二部分。
1. 教師出示penfriend, also, subject, e-mail address這四個詞匯,因為課前已布置學生預習,可請學生當小老師上臺教讀,并講解中文意思。
2. 教師出示自己收到的一封信,告訴學生:look! here's a letter from my penfriend. 并出示教學掛圖,告訴學生: liu tao also wants a penfriend. 以談話式的教學引入課題。
3.教師讓學生聽引言部分錄音。聽完錄音后,請學生回答問題,引導學生進入對話情景。

6.因為對話第二部分是c部分已學過的句型,所以教師可采用鞏固方式引出新內容。教師課前將此部分的句子打亂順序寫在卡片上,現將卡片貼于黑板上,請學生4人為一組,共同討論,看哪一組學生可以最先排列好順序,并請該組成員每人教讀一句。如:
