unit 1 how tall are you?(第一課時)
教學目標 1、能聽、說、認、讀taller、stronger、older、younger shorter單詞，發音準確。
2、能將所學單詞在日常實際生活中進行靈活運用。
教學重點 能聽、說、認讀所學單詞，發音準確。
教學難點 能讀準than并能運用比較級的句型。
教具準備 有關卡片，磁帶等。
導 學 過 程 二 次 備 課
一. warm-up：
1.greeting：(師生問好，打招呼)
t:good morning,boys and girls.how are you today?
ss:i’m fine.thank you.and you?
t:i’m fine,too.thank you.
2.play a game.(打開課件，播放人物圖片)
t：look! i’m tall and old .how about you,andy?
s1:i’m thin and short .what’s your father like,ben?
s2:my father is strong and tall.
二. presentation：
1.ask and answer in the class.(兩名學生在講臺上比較身高)
t: who is tall? / who is short?
ss:tom is tall. / peter is short.
t: tom is taller than peter.
2.make some sentences.
引導學生用 than和 taller表達身邊的同學身高情況.
3.聽磁帶理解chant中的內容，并跟讀三遍。
4.利用課件呈現其他新授單詞（stronger、older、younger、shorter）然后根據班級學生的情況分別改編剛才所學習chant中
的內容，鞏固所學句型。
5.鞏固練習。
（1）看口型，猜單詞。
（2）抽卡片猜單詞。
6.pair work
全班四人一小組，根據實際情況靈活運用今天所學習的五個新但詞造句，并且能夠拿自己與他人進行比較用英語表述出來。
三、practice：
1.listen and circle.播放課件，做聽力訓練，然后學生集體跟讀，幫助學生正確理解聽力部分的內容，找出正確答
2.句子接龍游戲。
s1:i’m taller than you. s2: i’m stronger than you
四、extension and consolidation
(1)調查你的好朋友及家人的具體身高。
(2)讀背今天所學習的五個新單詞和句型。。

教學目標 1、能聽懂、會說“how tall are you? i’m 164cm. you’re shorter than me. you’re 4cm taller than
me.并能在情景中正確運用。
2、通過詢問調查完成一張調查表。
教學重點 掌握句型：how tall are you? i’m …cm. you’re shorter than me. you’re …cm taller than me.
教學難點 能在情景中正確運用所學句型并能完成調查表。
教具準備 錄音機及磁帶、圖片、學生自備一張調查表

step 1：熱身（warm-up）
1學生聽并跟說let’s chant。
2復習單詞taller stronger older younger shorter
step 2： 預習（preview）
引導學生討論同桌及周圍同學的身高。
step 3：新課呈現（presentation）
