1. 培養(yǎng)學生整體閱讀課文對話，理解對話含義的能力。
2.培養(yǎng)學生根據(jù)上下文語境，獨立思考并推測單詞及短語意思的能力。
3.培養(yǎng)學生通過閱讀課文對話，總結(jié)主要句型并進行運用的能力。
情感態(tài)度目標：
1. 培養(yǎng)學生積極用英語表達的情感態(tài)度。
2. 培養(yǎng)學生熱愛中國節(jié)日文化，同時對國外節(jié)日文化感興趣的態(tài)度。

三、教學過程：
step one:
1 .t: hello, boys and girls. how are you today?
t: what’s your favoutite food/drink/animal/…?
出示板書： favourite 最喜歡的
t: now look at this word, listen: favourite. how to spell favourite?
(ask one group read it. )
now tell your deskmate something about your favourite things: practice in pairs.

說明：此部分可以加深學生對favourite的理解，由此引出favourite holidays。

說明：教師選取spring festival作為自己最喜愛的節(jié)日，利用ppt引起學生關(guān)注，看看老師在自己最喜歡的節(jié)日中做了些什么，引出新詞。再用本課時的主要句型和過去時態(tài)進行談?wù)撿柟虇卧~，比較自然，同時可以啟發(fā)學生對于春節(jié)的回憶，為最后談?wù)撟约涸诖汗?jié)做了什么做鋪墊。

說明：課文的學習分4個階段。1、聽錄音，梳理課文主要談?wù)摰膸讉�節(jié)日 2、閱讀，培養(yǎng)學生根據(jù)上下文語境猜測詞義，掃清閱讀障礙 3、完成練習，讓學生通過說的形式再次抓住課文主要信息，強調(diào)動詞過去式 4、相當于復述部分課文內(nèi)容,讓學生根據(jù)已經(jīng)整理出來的主要句型進行高一層次的談?wù)摚瑤ьI(lǐng)學習如何從對話中學會談?wù)摴?jié)日的主要方法。5、最后從中國的所有假日中拓展，通過自己對最喜愛的節(jié)日的描述（筆頭）加深學生對語言的運用能力，學生之間，學生與老師之間可以相互交流信息，同時滲透中外節(jié)日文化的差異，讓學生學會介紹自己喜歡的節(jié)日，聽說讀寫兼顧。

unit 6 holidays 單元分析
一
單元教材分析
本單元主要教學任務(wù)是教會學生說一些節(jié)日的名稱，及談?wù)摴?jié)日里所做的事。教學前，我們特別要強調(diào)布置學生做好預習工作，請他們每人在課前通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)、書刊搜集一兩個有關(guān)東西方節(jié)日的資料，盡可能嘗試著用英語表達，敘述。為了降低教學難度，我在教學時把整個單元的內(nèi)容重新整合了一下，我先將b部分的詞和c部分的前兩個問答合起來教，九個表示節(jié)日的詞組既可以通過出示圖片或用多媒體播放節(jié)日錄象來教，也可以讓學生聽有關(guān)節(jié)日的聲音、歌曲邊猜邊教，還可以用句型when’s …?導入，讓學生根據(jù)時間猜節(jié)日，同時用句型what do people usually do at …?來學著談?wù)摴?jié)日。鞏固練習時，老師快速說出和節(jié)日相關(guān)的物品或食物，讓學生搶答是什么節(jié)日。接下來，我將c部分的句型did you … last …? yes, i did. / no, i didn’t.和f部分結(jié)合起來教，f部分本來就是個游戲板塊，我們可以讓學生分小組活動，學生 會很感興趣。這樣，教學難點都解除了，再學a部分學生會很樂意使用語言，做到想講，能講。在學過課文后，就可以讓學生介紹自己最喜歡的節(jié)日，以及如何度過這個節(jié)日的，還可以做個小調(diào)查，看看你們小組成員最喜歡什么節(jié)日，如何度過這個節(jié)日的。

單元目標要求
能熟練掌握表示節(jié)日名稱的詞和日常交際詞組: christmas, easter, halloween ，eat delicious food, visit relatives等。能熟練掌握表示節(jié)日名稱的詞和詞組 能靈活運用所學句型交流“節(jié)日”這一話題。使學生通過本課的學習，能運用所學句型熟練地談?wù)摴?jié)日和風俗習慣在合作和交流中培養(yǎng)學生的跨文化意識，使學生了解中西方文化的差異。

單元設(shè)計意圖
本課的教學設(shè)計注重于創(chuàng)設(shè)和諧自然的交流環(huán)境，豐富的圖片把學生帶入濃濃的節(jié)日氣氛中，很自然地談?wù)撈疬@二個節(jié)日的風俗習慣,應該注重在課堂教學中幫助學生形成一定的學習策略，比如，單詞教學時結(jié)合語音發(fā)音規(guī)則的教學法。倡導自主學習，培養(yǎng)學生的聽說能力，隨著活動形式的變化，從詞—句—對話—小語段，逐步訓練學生的語言運用能力。
