  本單元圍繞節(jié)日和“談論節(jié)日里所做的事”來展開教學的,這是一個學生很感興趣的話題。而這一課不是本單元的第一課時,本課時的有關(guān)的節(jié)日單詞已在b部分上過,因此在本課的復習環(huán)節(jié)學生大都能快速且準確地讀出單詞,另外,本課的重點句型what do people usually do at/on……? they……. did you…… last……? yes, i did./no, i didn’t.也在c部分接觸過。因此本課的重點就是句型what’s your favourite holiday? my favourite holiday is ……和理解和朗讀課文。

  英語因該從聽,說,讀和寫四個方面來組織教學,因此每一堂課我都努力從這四個方面來展開教學工作。在對本課的教學時我盡量做到這一點。下面我就談談自己在這一課上在這四方面的成功和失敗之處。

  一、從“聽”入手,抓好學生學習英語的第一關(guān)。

  據(jù)統(tǒng)計,人們在語言交際中45%的時間用于聽,說占30%,讀占16%,寫占9%。因而要想學好一門外語,不僅要進行閱讀和寫作能力的訓練,更要重視聽說能力的培養(yǎng)。可見聽在英語教學中非常重要。學生要想學好英語,首先應從聽的能力方面來培養(yǎng)。因此我在教新單詞時先讓學生聽幾遍,讓他們先聽清楚單詞的發(fā)音,然后在進行模仿,這樣效果就非常好。另外在課文的理解上,我也主要通過讓學生聽課文后來回答問題來訓練他們的聽力。在老師的提醒下,大部分的學生能夠聽懂并理解課文。

  但也有小部分學生并沒有集中思想在認真聽,更有小部分學生為了表現(xiàn)而在偷偷地翻書回答,這樣就失去了所要達到的效果。在以后的課上一定要注意。

  二、由“聽”到“說”,培養(yǎng)學生應用所學語言的能力。

  學習語言的最終目的是為了應用,好多學生學了幾年英語也不會張開嘴巴說,那就失去了學習語言的目的。一直以來,多數(shù)學生的英語表達能力較差,說不出多少句像樣的英語來。許許多多渴望掌握英語的學生卻沒有把英語作為一種語言來學。很多學生英語沒有下苦功,他們懶于開口,完全不曾想過用學過的英語來表達日常生活情景或思考問題。這樣一來他們所學的就等于沒學。

  為了讓學生能夠應用所學的語言,我在課上盡量給他們創(chuàng)造機會讓他們張開嘴巴大聲地說出來。所以在這節(jié)課上一開始,我就和學生進行師生對話互動,主要復習第五單元的句型,由于學生剛開始接觸過去時態(tài),在表達的時候就有一點困難,因此這些天一直在練習。之后我又讓學生看者圖片說出單詞,學生發(fā)言非常踴躍。除此以外,在學生學習新句型時,我又讓他們進行同桌討論,讓每個學生都能應用所學的句型來和別人進行交流,基本上每個學生都能做到。

  三、流利地朗讀課文是學好英語的必要條件。

  學生通過朗讀,頭腦輸入了大量可理解的英語語言材料,就能逐漸提高其英語水平,這個最基本的方法也最簡單易行。它完全符合學好英語的四大原則,即簡單原則、量的原則、重復原則和模仿原則。尤其是朗讀的簡單原則,其優(yōu)點更加彰顯:1、造就成就感,培養(yǎng)自信;2、增加興趣;3、語言朗朗上口;4、最易于學以致用。因此對于課文的朗讀我總會花上很多時間,在這節(jié)課上我用了近一半的時間來讓學生反復地讀課文,這樣一堂課下來基本上每個學生都能讀出課文,這樣這堂課的任務就完成了。

  朗讀對學好英語的作用是不可置疑的。訓練學生進行朗讀一定要持之以恒,不折不扣,每個單元的每一課都要過關(guān),都要熟練掌握,只要堅持一段時間后,他們就體會到反復大聲朗讀的美妙之處。肯定地說,他們對教材內(nèi)容朗讀的次數(shù)愈多,愈熟練,對所學內(nèi)容運用起來就愈自然,愈嫻熟,考起試來就愈得心應手。拿高分。他們的詞匯量將會猛增,英語知識將得到很大的鞏固和提高,大量有用的、有趣的語句將會很自然地脫口而出。

  四、“寫”也是學好英語必不可少的環(huán)節(jié)。

  “寫”在英語教學中決不能被忽視,而且必須從一開始就加以強化練習。從字母的正確書寫開始,到單詞的書寫,再到句子的書寫,每一步都很重要。特別是結(jié)合語法的應用,一定要進行大量的寫的練習,在寫的過程中學生才能理解和鞏固所學的知識。

  在課結(jié)束前我讓學生抄寫本課的詞組,當然也是操練寫的一種方法。但我想要是再能結(jié)合課文出示一些填空題可能會更好。

  學好英語必須抓好聽,說,讀和寫四個方面能力的培養(yǎng),四個方面缺一不可,否則就會成為聾子或啞巴。做為一名英語老師,我們應該從這四個方面來組織我們的教學,讓學生能夠聽得懂英語,會說英語,會讀和會寫英語,從而能夠真正學好英語。
