一 學習課題

1. play a game <listen and do>

（教師邊做邊說，復習run, play table tennis等，引出新詞skate swim）

2. t：i can swim. （動作）can you swim?

  引導學生回答

s:  yes, i can. (no, i can’t)

多問幾組

t:  i can swim. (teach: swim)

what can you do?

(i can在上一單元已經出現，學生并不陌生，所以在這里聯系學生的生活實際讓學生自由用i can說一說自己會做的事情，能用英語就說英語，用中文也可以,而從學生角度出發，學生可能會做的事情且比較常見的可能有sing ,dance ,draw 等，教師寫副板書,為后續教學做準備)

3.導入課題

t:look，who are they?(呈現文中三人圖像)

where are they？

t： yes, they’re in the playground.

    so what can they do?(引導學生聯系生活實際進行猜測，部分學生通過預習可能已經有正確答案)

t：yes, play basketball

  today we will learn unit4 i can play basketball(揭題，帶讀)

二、 進入課文，嘗試自學：

（一）呈現學習目標1——看動畫初步感知課文

活動形式：watch the cartoon and find

    學生認真觀看對話動畫，根據要求找出答案。

    反饋：

    t：now, do you know the answers? who can play basketball?

  (指名回答，呈現p1p2，跟讀，這里要特別注意liutao，有的孩子認為他會，而有的孩子有可能認為他不會) 

（二）呈現學習目標2——讀課文，深入理解課文

自讀故事，找出答案和理由

呈現學習要求 （3’)

自己大聲讀課文，找出答案，并畫出證明你的觀點的關鍵句.

學生打開課本朗讀對話，根據要求進行自學。
