教材分析：本節課中主要學習7個新單詞及相關的句子。其中bright, wait 在以前學習過，most 5bunit 5已掌握，可不做重點。其余幾個單詞terrible, forecast,等可通過創設虛擬的情景及問題的推進引出單詞并進行操練單詞。其次還要求學生掌握幾個固定的搭配。如：wait for , a piece of
學情分析：
五（2）（3）學生人數不多，分別有32、31個小朋友。但兩極分化現象非常嚴重。其中兩個班分別有1-2個學生是隨班就讀生，分別有1-2個學生是從外地轉過來的，從來沒有接觸過英語，是從零開始學的，學習有相當的困難。還有一小部分學生學習不夠努力。雖然說經過師生共同艱苦的努力，學生在學習習慣方面有了很大的改變，學習英語的興趣有了很大的提高，但是在語言的積累上還顯得非常的薄弱，缺乏靈活運用語言的能力。但也有相當一部分學生對英語有濃厚的興趣，上課積極舉手發言，認真傾聽老師講課，能靈活的使用語言。
教學目標：
1、學習本單元單詞：terrible, forecast, spend, bright, wait, most, piece
2、能夠流利的朗讀單詞和句子。
3、（發展目標）選用新單詞造句或編一段話
教學過程：
一、pre-task preparation
ask and answer:
1) what’s the weather like today?
2) what was the weather like yesterday?
3) what’s the weather like tomorrow?
二、while-task procedure
1) forecast:
everyday the weather is different. how do you know the weather?
( i look at the sky.i listen to the weather report on tv/the radio.)
i also listen to the weather report everyday. wearther report we can also say weather forecast.
