一、教學目標與要求
能力目標：能夠詢問別人能做什么家務勞動，如：what can you do?
知識目標：
1.能夠聽、說、讀、寫句型：what can you do? i can sweep the floor.
2. 能夠聽、說、認讀句子：mother goat is ill. we can help. just do it.
3.理解read and write中的會話內容，根據內容完成句子。
情感、策略目標
1.情感態度：養成講究衛生、熱愛勞動的好習慣，培養樂于助人的優秀品質。
2.學習策略：注重小組合作學習，培養相互溝通和交流的能力。
二、教學重、難點分析
1.本課時的教學重點是四會掌握句型
— what can you do?
— i can sweep the floor.
i can water the flowers.
i can cook the meals.
三、教具準備
教學圖片、課件、尺子、練習題、錄音機。
四、教學步驟
一、讀前（before reading）
1. 交流（greetings）
hello, boy! what’s your name? nice to meet you! what’s her name? (her name is…) you’re helpful. nice to meet you …. what’s his name? (his name is …) you’re helpful….
[設計說明]通過交流與學生溝通情感，拉近距離，了解學生情況，同時滲透本課情景語言： you’re helpful.
2. 熱身活動 （let’s chant）
學生跟教師邊說邊做動作
dog, dog, what can you do?
i can run after you.
panda, panda, what can you do?
i can eat so much bamboo.
mouse, mouse, what can you do?
i can hide in the shoe.
mike, mike, what can you do?
i can draw animals in the zoo.
 [設計說明] 教師與學生邊說歌謠邊做動作，讓學生集中注意力，烘托課堂氣氛，自然進入英語課的學習狀態。同時，復習舊知識i can…，并為新內容what can you do?的呈現作好鋪墊。
3. 游戲復習相關詞組。（say as quickly as you can.）
師：mike can draw animal in the zoo, what can they do? say as quickly as you can. (課件呈現詞組學生眼疾嘴快，看誰說得快。)
[設計說明] 通過眼疾嘴快的游戲，復習學生已學過的動詞詞組，激發學生參與課堂學習的同時，喚起學生已有的相關舊知識，舊技能，為新課的順利進行打好基礎。
4.呈現、學習語言：what can you do? i can…
課件呈現各種動作圖片，引導學生理解學習: what can you do? i can …
a: 教師板書， 學生觀察。  
b. 學生抄寫 （教師根據學生的書寫隨時蓋獎章，及時對學生的書寫進行評價。）  
c. 教讀  
d. 同桌根據自己的情況表達自己能做的事情。i can / can’t… 學生說后教師用 you’re helpful. 進行評價。
e. 創設情景，mother goat is ill, what can you do for her?讓學生根據自己的情況力所能及的幫助病中的山羊媽媽。
 [設計說明] 讓學生在近似真實的語境中運用語言，表達自己樂于助人的情感及能力。
二、讀中（while reading）
教師：you’re so helpful. some friends are helpful too. they’re helping mother goat now. open your books at p48
1.略讀對話，回答問題 (read briefly and answer)

2.精讀對話，提出問題 （read carefully and raise questions）
