1. what should i do?
should 是一個情態(tài)動詞，表示義務(wù)、責(zé)任或勸告，建議等，意為“應(yīng)該，應(yīng)當(dāng)”，后接動詞原形。
ex: (1) we should help him.
(2) you should ask her first.
(3) you          (不應(yīng)該) laugh at him.
(4) what should we do now?
should還可用來表示可能性、推測或推論。
the movie should be interesting.
that                  exciting.（應(yīng)該是）
2. my brother plays his cds too loud.
此句中的play意為“播放”；loud 在此句中用作副詞，意為“大聲地”，相當(dāng)于loudly. loud也可用作形容詞，意為“響亮的，吵鬧的”，用作定語或表語。ex:
①i heard a        knock at the door.（我聽到有人大聲敲門。）
=i heard someone knock       at the door.
②please ask them to speak more       .（請他們講話大聲點。）
3. you could call him up.
could 在句中表示建議，意為“可以”，表示一種委婉的語氣，并非過去式，其否定形式為couldn’t。
ex: (1) if you are tired, you could go to bed early.
(2) you could be more careful. （你可以再仔細些。）
call him up 意為“給他打電話”，call up 是動副結(jié)構(gòu)，所帶的賓語如果是代詞，必須放在兩詞中間，若是名詞，可放中間，也可放后面。ex:
you could call                 .（給jim打電話）
i should call                  .（給她打電話）
call sb. up相當(dāng)于give sb. a call/ring; ring sb. up; phone sb.
4. i argued with my best friend.
argue 為不及物動詞，意為“爭論，爭吵”，argue with sb. 意為“與……爭吵”，argue about sth. 意為“為某事而爭吵”。ex:
she often argues          her husband        their children.
5. what’s wrong? 怎么了？
wrong是形容詞，意為“錯誤的，有毛病的，不適合的”，what’s wrong with…? 意為“……怎么了？”其同義句為 “what’s the matter with…?”
wrong還常常用于下列句型中：
①there is something (nothing) wrong with…
②you are wrong. （反義詞為      ）
6. my clothes are out of style.
out of style意為“過時的，不時尚的”，其對應(yīng)短語為in style，意為“時尚的，流行的”，此處style 為名詞，意為“風(fēng)格，時尚”。
