t: in this unit we learnt a lot about how to make phone calls in english. finish off the exercises speaking the language on page 59 and the act it out in class.
4. reading
t: read the passage learning english and then answer the questions below.
the teacher should ask the students to preview the questions first. after the students give the answers, ask them to read it again and prepare to retell the passage.

step iii homework
1. review what we learnt in this unit.
2. prepare the role-play on page 60.
3. preview lesson 49 hobbies are fun!
