含義 句型 例句
used to
意為“過去常常”，表示過去的習慣或狀態，但如今已不存在，其中to是動詞不定式的符號。
肯定句：主語 + used to + 動詞原形 … he used to live in america, but now he lives in china.他過去住在美國，但現在住在中國。
否定句：主語 + used not ( usedn’t) to + 動詞原形 …
或 主語 + didn’t use to + 動詞原形 … he used not (usedn’t) to live in america.
= he didn’t use to live in america.
他過去不住在美國。
一般疑問句：used + 主語 + to + 動詞原形 …？
yes, 主語 + used ./ no, 主語 + usedn’t.
或 did + 主語 + use to + 動詞原形…？

其中to是介詞，
后接名詞，代詞
或v-ing形式。 肯定句：
主語 + be used to + 名詞
/代詞/ v-ing形式… we are used to the teacher’s teaching.我們習慣于這位老師的教法。
否定句：
主語 + be not used to +
名詞/ 代詞/ v-ing形式… he isn’t used to living in the country.
他不習慣于住在農村。
一般疑問句：
be + 主語 + used to +名詞

友情提醒 be used to + 動詞原形，是被動語態，意為“被用于……”。如：
the cloth can be used to cover the table.這種布可以用來蓋桌子。
