15 until 直到…為止, not until 用于句首時后面的主句要用倒裝語序
（1） conj 后接時間狀語從句， 也可用于強調結構。 people don’t know the value of health until they lose it.
not until you told me did i know his death. not until his mother came back, did the little boy go to bed.
it was not until the government took measures that the spread of aids was controlled .
(2) prep 在肯定句中，與延續性動詞連用，意為“直到…為止” ； 在否定句中與瞬間動詞連用， 意為“在…之前， 不到…就”i’ll stay here until /till next monday. he didn’t come until late in the afternoon. (傍晚)
16 used to 表示過去經常或持續性的行為， 現在已經不再發生。 常用did 幫助構成疑問句和否定句，也可用used

近義詞辨析： used to 過去常常，指過去的狀況，也可指習慣，現在已經停止了，可與be連用。 would 多指過去的動作反復，與現在無關。不與be 連用。
he used to be a quiet boy . he would sit on the river bank fishing when he was a young child.

(2) too…to 句式中，too 后接ready, glad, willing, pleased, delighted 等形容詞時，無否定意義。
he is too willing to help others. i’m only too glad to go home.
(3) too…to 句式中，too前用否定詞（never,not） 時，表示肯定意義。
his courage is never too much to be praised.他的勇氣再表揚也不為過。
(4) too… not to ..句式表示肯定意義。 he is too wise not to solve this problem.他非常聰明，必能解決這個問題。
(5) can’t …too 表示“無論怎么樣……也不過分” you can’t be too careful. 你越小心越好
