有的詩歌講述一個故事或用一種能給讀者深刻印象的方式來描述某件事。
在這個復合句中，含有一個由that引導的定語從句，that在從句中作主語，修飾名詞way。和下面兩個句子比較一下，看有什么區別。

另外一種學生容易寫的簡體詩是由五行組成的，叫做五行詩。
這是一個倒裝句，全句的主語是another simple form of poem。that從句是定語從句，修飾poem。在逗號后a poem是名詞作同位語，是對前面的名詞the cinquain的解釋說明。過去分詞短語made up of作定語，修飾前面名詞a poem，相當于一個定語從句which is made up of five lines.
