▲ it was believed句型很常見,是一個(gè)以it作形式主語(yǔ),真正的主語(yǔ)是一個(gè)從句放在句末,動(dòng)詞通常是表示思考、建議,要求,報(bào)道等意義的詞,F(xiàn)小結(jié)如下:
it is thought that... 據(jù)認(rèn)為……
it is proved that... 據(jù)證明……
it is known that... 眾所周知……
it is suggested that... 據(jù)建議……
it is believed that... 據(jù)信……
it is reported that... 據(jù)報(bào)道……
it is announced that... 據(jù)宣布……
it is said that... 據(jù)說(shuō)……
it is requested that... 據(jù)要求……
it is demanded that... 據(jù)要求……
① it was reported that half a million workers were on strike in their country. 據(jù)報(bào)道他的國(guó)家有五十萬(wàn)工人罷工。② it has been announced that their country will send up another man-made satellite next month.據(jù)宣布他們的國(guó)家將在下月再發(fā)射一顆人造地球衛(wèi)星。③ it has been decided that the sports meet will be put off till next thursday. 據(jù)決定運(yùn)動(dòng)會(huì)推遲到下周四召開。④ it is suggested that they set out tomorrow. 據(jù)建議,他們明天出發(fā)。⑤ it was demanded that the working conditions be improved as soon as possible. 據(jù)要求工作條件要盡可能快地改進(jìn)。⑥ it is required that we work eight hours a day.我們要求一天工作八小時(shí)。
【注】在動(dòng)詞require,demand,suggest,order等后的that從句中,謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用原形或"should + 動(dòng)詞原形”,這是虛擬語(yǔ)氣的一種形式,如例句④⑤⑥。

(1) dig up意思是“挖出”“挖掘”“翻挖”。如:① they dug up an old greek statue.他們挖掘到一尊希臘雕像。② they are digging up the road behind the park.他們正在挖掘公園后面的那條路。③ these relics were dug up last year. 這些文物是去年出土的。④ the archaeologists have dug up some interesting remains. 考古學(xué)家挖掘出一些有趣的古物。
