with的復合結構。即with + 賓語 + 賓補
(1) he likes to sleep with the window open. (adj. 作賓補)他喜歡開著窗戶睡覺。
(2) with her son away from home, she was worried. (adv. 短語作賓補) 由于她的兒子離家出走，所以她很擔心。
(3) she came in with a baby in her arms. (介詞短語作賓補) 她抱著孩子進來了。
(4) with the problem settled, we went on smoothly. (過去分詞作賓補) 由于問題得到解決，我們進展順利。
(5) with a local guide leading the way, we got there easily. (現在分詞短語作賓補) 由于當地向導帶路，我們很容易到了那兒。
(6) with her husband to help her, she worked it out. (不定式作賓補) 由于她丈夫幫助她，她解決了這個問題。
注意：with的復合結構既可以作狀語，又可以作定語。

2) rely vi. (與on，upon連用): (1) 依靠；依賴 rely on one's own efforts 依靠自己的努力(2) 信任；信賴 depend on with confidence you may rely on me. 你可以信賴我。
辨析：rely與depend英語
rely 指“在過去經驗的基礎上，依賴、相信某人或某事物，希望從中得到支持或幫助”。如：he can be relied on to keep secret. 相信他能保密。
depend 指“出于信賴而依靠他人或他物，以取得支持或幫助，這種信賴可能有過去的經驗或了解為根據，也可能沒有”。如：he can depend on his wife for sympathy. 他相信妻子會同情他。英語

辨析：persuade，convince 與 advise英語
persuade和convince意思均為“說服”；前者著重情感上的“敦促，勸告”，后者著重理智上的“辯論、證明”，兩者結構相同，即：persuade (或convince) sb. that... ; persuade (或convince sb. of sth. )
