二. 重點短語
1. score of幾十； 許多
英語中的所有數(shù)量單位在表示概數(shù)時,同時加“s”和“of”, 如dozens of, scores of, hundreds of, millions of etc.
當這些單位詞前面有數(shù)詞修飾表示確定的數(shù)目時,不加“s” “of”,如：
two dozen eggs, three hundred pupils, five million people etc. 但three score of policemen例外
