turn about / round（使）向后轉，回頭，轉身；turn against（使）反對（某人）；turn away轉過臉去，拒絕；turn back往回走；turn down調低，關小，拒絕；turn in上繳，上交；turn into（使）變成；turn off關掉；turn on打開；turn out熄滅，生產；turn over翻過來；turn to求助于，轉向；turn up調高，到達，出現等等。
