●易混辨析
desire和long
①desire指愿望，希望，是一個正式的用語。著重指懷著某種急切的心情，盼望達成某一目的或得到某種東西。一般來說，這種愿望可以實現。有時還表示較為溫和的命令，因其本身是及物動詞，可直接帶賓語。
②long意為渴望、極想，側重表示很難或不可能得到的東西，常構成long to do sth.(極想做某事)或long for sth.(渴望某物)。
●溫馨提示
當desire作動詞后接賓語從句，以及desire作名詞后接同位語從句或表語從句時，that從句中的謂語動詞常用虛擬語氣should＋動詞原形，且should可省略。
