3. advise v: suggest
eg. we advised her that she (should) wait.
這個詞跟suggest都表示建議之義，但要表示建議某人做某事只能用advise sb to do sth, 不能用suggest sb to do sth
advise,suggest 后接賓語從句時,要用虛擬語氣。
其名詞形式為advice,是一個不可數名詞,要表達一條建議只能說成a piece of advice

eg. he accepted the reward.

eg. i want to know the position of the shop.

eg. don’t lose heart you still have many chances.

2. (be) in trouble : in a situation that involves danger, pain, worry, etc

3. fight against/with: struggle against sb/sth using physical force, in a war, battle, etc
