① at this point 在此地，在此刻 ② be on the point of doing sth 正要做某事
③ to the point 切題，說中要害 ④ off the point 離題，走題

the letter was short and to the point. 這封信簡明扼要。
7. 區別：give in, give up, give away, give off, give out
give away: 贈送，分發，泄露 give off: 發出“（煙、光、熱等）”
give out: 分發；耗盡，筋疲力盡
