1) encourage each one to write one word( 4---8 letters) on the board and read aloud once( not repeat)
2) induce ss each to pronounc one vowel among 20 and write it on the board.
3) ask each one to look up one new word in the unit in the dictionary (mentioning each one should have a dictionary)
4) encourage ss a b c to read the words on the board in class.
5. step five: introduce the new book to ss and what we should do to learn the book.

2. step two: check ss homework—the new words looked up .(emphasis:everyone should finish one’s homework at least if he wants to do nothing,or he could not learn english well.)
