pre-task procedure
①pair work: revise jobs people do in the last lesson.
②individual work. call several students to introduce his/her parents.
while-task procedure:
① leading in .before the ss read kitty and susan’s conversation in the lift, give them a question to think about “what are kitty and susan talking about?” after reading the text, the ss will answer “they are talking about susan’s work.”
② ss read the dialogue again, and find out the answers to the questions in the second part.ask the ss to identify the words in the text first and then use the information in the sentence to guess the meanings. then fill in the blanks in the second part.
