Lesson 11教學目標 ：
Make the students know：
1 Why do plants need sunlight and water .
2 The function of glass .
3 How to look after the plant .
The students should be able to：
1 Know and remember why plants need sunlight , water ; what’s the function of the glass .
2 Write something about how to look after the plant .
教具：一盆植物，澆水用的小水壺，松土用的小鏟子等。
詞匯：sprout over cover look after
句型：Why do sb.(sth.) need……？
教學設計：
1 向學生問候，復習前面學過的關于天氣、學習等常用語句；復習前面課文學過的植物的組成部分，植物是如何種植和生長的等內容。
2 說明本課內容： 如何照顧植物。
3介紹本課詞匯和句型以及它們的用法。
4 帶領學生朗讀單詞與課文。
5 通過對話練習來鞏固本課內容。
6 演示如何給植物澆水、松土，然后讓同學上來做。
7 指導學生閱讀“讀物”，做“活動手冊”上的練習題。
8 布置作業 ：背誦和抄寫生詞，熟讀課文，用所學單詞和句型描述如何照顧植物，完成練習題。
