ss close their books and listen to l55, then think about the following qs before listening to the tape:

2. when is breakfast?
3. when is school?
4. when is lunch?
5. what’s li ming’s favorite subject? (explain it to the whole class.)
6. when is his english lesson?
7. when does he go home?
8. when is supper?
ss can listen to the dialogue twice. they can write the key words according to the qs while listening.
play the audiotape. after listening, check ss’ answers.

ss make up dialogues in pairs.

then have ss read l55 loudly.
