show some pictures on the screen. ss talk about it in pairs.

step iii game
what is it? (ex. iv. a, on page 70)
give the month, the weather and the colour. guess what it is. you may begin like this:
t: it’s january. it’s white. it’s cold. what can i see?
ss: you can see the snow.
you can also ask a student to say the month, the weather and the colour. the others guess.

step iv competition
have a competition. (ex. i. a, on page 69)
divide the class into two groups (boys and girls). see which group can find out the most words in the shortest time.

step v homework

2. write a short passage about some people around you. (page 70: ex. iv, b)
