teaching aims and demands:

2. to use everyday expressions to give instructions, make requests, and give responses

teaching methods: teaching and practice
teaching procedures:
step 1. revision
tell the students that they need to speak in english in your class, so it is important to lean some common expressions. tell them to write down frequently used words and phases
step2. presentation
bring a thing what they don’t know. eg.album(相冊) lipstick(口紅)…then task
what’s this?they will say it in chinese.task:how do you say that in english?
1. if know the answer to something, you can say:i’m sorry,i don’t know.
2.if you don’t understand something, you say:i don’t understand.
step3.practise
let ss practice these sentences(可以附以表情)

introduce the word ‘borrow’. ask students to work in pairs to exchange requests and responses as presented on page 18.do you have a pen ?yes , i do (no ,i don’t) can i borrow your pen?yes ,you can.(i’m sorry.i don’t have one)
ask students to remember the whole sentences and look at their partner when they speak.
step 4. practice
walk around the class and check for understanding. encourage students to repeat whole sentences from memory.
homework:
1. make a dialogue.(借東西)
2. copy the new words and phrases.
