教師設計各種學生身邊的問題,目的是讓學生復習學科名詞和上一課時的知識點。

這次的chant可以用音樂的節拍來進行。

chant和做游戲是對grammar focus 知識點的展示和綜合鞏固。（給學生a看 事先準備好的小紙條，上面寫比如mary —math--- interesting 由a學生發問：what’s mary’s
favorite subject? 其他學生猜問is … her favorite subject?或is her favorite subject … ?,a答用yes或no回答。猜對后，a再問why does she like math?其他學生猜問because it is … ?a答yes或no直到猜對答案為止。）在游戲中復習學科單詞和描寫學科的形容詞，并且復習her, his等形容詞性物主代詞。

在教師的引導下，學生由兩人對話過渡到三人一組的鏈式操練, 然后到結束的時候教師會提問一些同學的favorite subject 及teacher 的情況， 促使全體學生在練的過程中集中注意力。

給學生一分鐘時間準備
讓學生以對話的形式來訂正答案。
最后讓學生以第三人稱來說同伴的情況, 培養說簡短的語篇的能力。

為了給學生更多的機會重復使用形容詞，可適當增加表格欄目內容

在學生調查后，讓一兩個學生來做簡短的報告，其中可以適時地穿插問其他學生有關報告的內容。
在最后一個學生報告完畢后,通過問他一個問題來引出同學談論喜歡的東西，如：food, color, sports, songs, movies…。學生兩人一組相互問答。先讓三到四對同學表演對話，最后讓個別同學以語篇的形式說出自己和同伴的最喜愛的東西。

通過調查完成表格，讓兩學生談論父母親的喜好，其他學生聽，并做報告。這一步培養學生聽說寫的綜合能力。

如果有學生不知道父母的喜好，及時進行情感的教育。
