2.learning methods:
the students fully use their sense organs to learning english , so i guide theme to use the following learning methods : i will let them to learn english by playing, singing ,guessing . and the students foster their cooperation by group activity.
the third、teaching steps and purposes of design
thirdly i will discuss with you how i deal with the teaching steps and its aims:
step 1 : warm –up
1.game: remember the words quickly to review the phases: playing the violin, making kites, collecting the stamps and so on.
2. free talk: i like ……
purpose : well begun is half done , the purposes of playing the game is making a relaxing atmosphere for students to concentrate on the english class. at the same time, by talking, they review the knowledge naturally , it gets ready for them to accept the new knowledge.
step 2 presentation
now i will mainly to talk about this step :
1. present: what’s your hobby? and i like ……
first, from the free talk, i like ……, i will tell them the word: hobby. and spell it , then i will ask them : what’s your hobby? and practise the sentence ,let the group read one by one and louder and louder. next, let them pair :what’s your hobby?
2.present : he likes/ she likes……
then i will ask one student : what’s your hobby? and let the other student tell me : what’s his hobby? what’s her hobby? practise the sentence: she likes / he likes……and i will practise the sentence with game : let them see the part of the picture and guess : what’s his hobby ? what’s her hobby? then let the students do the action , and the other guess , what’s his hobby ? what’s her hobby?
3.let’s try
i will show three tickets of music show, football show and stamp show. listen to the talk and choose : what’s bill’s hobby? what’s daniel’s hobby ? which ticket does bill like? next, t: there are two tickets left. chen jie and wu yifan want to go to the show, read and choose.
4. i design a game : go to the music show , but first you must get the ticket.
i let the students read the talk and fill the blanks ,then make a dialogue according to the talk .
purpose : chanting together will help students strengthen their memory and it can make the poor students feel confident. presenting the difficulties and the importance step by step will be easy for students to absorb . use of real teaching tools and situations will give students a better understanding.
