五、教學重、難點分析
1、本課時需要重點掌握職業名稱:singer, writer, tv reporter, actor, actress, artist.和句型“ what does your mother do? what does your father do? what are you going to be?”.
2、本課時的難點是學生能正確區分運用冠詞a和an,如:an actress, a writer.
六、課前準備
1、教師準備各種職業人物的相片,名人的圖片或頭飾。
2、教師準備一臺錄音機和相關錄音帶。
3、學生準備與本課時相關的單詞卡。
七、教學過程
warm-up free talk “模仿秀”
t: hello, boys and girls. i am a teacher. what’s your father? what’s your mother?
詢問幾個學生,引導他們回答,并模仿父母相應職業的動作特征。
(1)主題任務型活動
唱歌激趣,導入主題
task 1: “模仿秀”,“猜一猜”和chant: what’s mr green?
t: i have some new friends. who are they? let’s see.
“模仿秀”,請四個學生扮演nurse, doctor, farmer, driver,只做動作,不說話。其他學生猜出他們的職業,然后老師帶領全班學生一起說chant.
what’s mr green? what’s mr green?
he’s a doctor. he’s a doctor.
he’s a great doctor.
what’s miss white? what’s miss white?
she’s a teacher. she’s a teacher.
she’s a great teacher.
引導學生用farmer, driver改編這首chant,并邊說邊做動作。
task 2:“明星匯聚”頌勞模
t(ppt呈現): hello, boys and girls. there is a meeting in nanhai. some people are coming to the meeting. look, who are they? (在ppt上出現南海區勞模頒獎大會的情景,各個行業的獲獎人物逐個出現,并用英語介紹他們。)
for example:
(1) a: hello, i’m miss huang. i’m a singer.
b: what does miss huang do? she is a singer. she likes singing. she’s cool.
(2) a: hello, i’m mr zhang. i’m a write.
b: what does mr huang do? he is a writer. he likes writing stories for the children. great!
……
整體呈現本節課的新單詞和新句型,讓學生集中注意力,整體感知新知。
t: boys and girls, are they cool? what do they do?
教師再次展示人物圖片,并一一教學這些職業單詞。
task 3: 學做小記者,采訪。
教師邀請一些志愿者扮演勞模,給他們戴上勞模頭飾,用英語介紹自己。
hello, i’m mr guan. i’m an actor. i work in nanhai tv station.
hello, i’m mr chen. i’m an artist. i work in the art room.
……
小記者匆匆趕來,錯過了勞模的自我介紹,只好采訪其他觀眾tom:
sally: hello, tom. i’m a tv reporter, sally. can i ask you some questions?
tom: sure.
sally: who’s that man?
tom: he’s mr guan.
sally: what does he do?
tom: he’s an actor.
……
group work.要求學生仿照以上例子,在四人小組中表演對話。
創設小情境,提供機會給學生以小組為單位在模擬情境中操練和運用新知。
task 4:學生互相談論父母的職業,并make a report。
pair work.學生根據實際情況互相談論父母的職業。
