1. 教師準備本課時的動詞卡片和圖片。
2. 教師準備五年級下冊有關愛好的動詞短語卡片。
3. 教師準備錄音機和相關錄音帶。
六、教學步驟
熱身（warm-up）
（1）教師放本單元it’s time to say goodbye to china的錄音，學生跟說句子。
（2）教師出示五年級的有關愛好的動詞短語卡片，如play sports, climb mountains, play the piano, go hiking, fly kites, swim等。
2. 預習（preview）
（1）教師放錄音，學生跟讀。
（2）教師提問學生：miss white liu yun chen jie……學生一一回答后。教師再提問：what’s john’s ….hobby? do you know?
3. 新課呈現（presentation）
listen, write, match and say
(1) 教師接著語系部分說：sarah is going back to america next month. she will leave china and her good friends. she will give her friends some nice gifts. what are they? please listen to her diary.學生仔細聽錄音并小聲跟讀。
(2) 學生完成listen and fill in the blanks的練習。
(3) 教師提問：what is john’s hobby? what is sarah going to give him/her?引導學生回答問題。
(4) 教師畫出短文中的will結構，請學生根據上下文判斷其意思。
(5) 教師知道學生完成match and say部分的練習。可先請學生朗讀短文，教師再做示范，說出一個完成的句子，然后請學生分小組依照示范說句子。
教師請學生做匯報，如john likes…..sarah is going to give him…教師鼓勵用不同的句子進行匯報。
let’s play
教師說：amy is working on some puzzles. can you help her? 學生四人一組猜謎語，看哪組最先回答出所有題目，然后教師適當講解。
4. 鞏固和擴展 (consolidation and extension)
（1）學生做本單元的活動手冊配套練習。
（2）學生聽listen write match and say 部分的錄音，請給家長或同伴。
（3）學生背誦并抄寫四會單詞和句子。

1. 能聽、說、認讀let’s make部分的四段短文，并與四副小圖正確連線。
能復習鞏固一般現在時第三人稱單數的形式和用法。
了解英語中的一些告別用語。

本課教學重點能聽、說、讀let’s make 部分的短文，并能讀懂故事。
四、教學難點
教學難點是學生能夠聽、說、認讀let’s make 部分的短文并能模仿短文中的語言描述自己的教師和同學的外貌。
五、課前準備
1.教師準備課文插圖。
2.教師準備一些鉛畫紙。
3.準備相應的錄音帶。
六、教學步驟
1. 熱身（warm-up）
教師放listen and write 部分的錄音。學生邊聽錄音邊跟讀。
（2）學生試讀課文中的繞口令，在小組內進行競賽。

猜一猜的游戲
教師用英語描述班級內的一名學生，其他人猜是誰，然后請學生上講臺來描述某位同學，其他學生猜是誰？
3. 新課呈現（presentation）

(1) 教師說：miss white is making a book about her students. so she can remember them well. who are the students? 請學生獨立或分小組朗讀四段短文，解釋學生不理解的句子，然后說：there are four pictures below. would you like to help miss/white glue the pictures? 教師知道學生完成圖文搭配的練習。
