一、 教學(xué)內(nèi)容： a部分listen,read and say.
二、教學(xué)目標：1 學(xué)習(xí)a部分,學(xué)生會讀countryside,snowball fights。
2熟練掌握四會句型what's the weather like ...?
3 進一步理解三會句型which season in...do you like best?
三、教學(xué)重點：1理解a部分的含義。
2進一步掌握三、四會句型。
四、教學(xué)難點:
1 初步使用比較級。
2 了解be going to 時態(tài)。
五、課前準備：1 準備錄音機和第五單元的磁帶。
2 課前寫好本課的課題6b. unit 5 b部分listen, read and say.
六、教學(xué)過程：
step1.look and guess.
先讓一位學(xué)生站起來面對大家，教師出示一幅天氣的圖片，其他學(xué)生
問what's the weather like today?這位學(xué)生回答，正確給小組積分。
step2.看一段天氣預(yù)報的電視錄象，回答問題，正確給小組積分。例如:s1： what's the weather like in chong qing? s2: it's sunny.
step3.看圖回答問題，用電腦做出下列課件：第一幅圖是紐約的圖片。問題：what city is it?
第二幅圖是紐約秋季大風(fēng)的圖片。問題：what's the weather like in autumn in new york?
第三幅圖是紐約的人們在秋季的活動。問題：what do the americans usually do in autumn?
第四幅圖是紐約冬季孩子們堆雪人的圖片。問題：what do the children usually do in winter in new york?
step4. 聽a部分兩遍，小組內(nèi)根據(jù)所聽內(nèi)容把下列句子排序并讀出，同時解決countryside這個單詞。
1. new york is very beautiful in spring.
2. ben likes making snowmen in new york.
3. new york is usually very hot in summer.
4. su yang's father is going to new york.
5. people in new york like to go to farms in the countryside.
step5.以小組為單位自己讀課文，注意語法現(xiàn)象，讀過后小組內(nèi)討論解決，解決不了的在自由提問時間由老師或其他學(xué)生解決。為幫助學(xué)生有一定的針對性，老師出示以下問題：
1.what's the difference between the two sentences?
a. su yang's dad is going to work in new york next week.
b. su yang's dad is going to new york soon.
2.tell us the meanings of the following phrases:in the countryside, pick pumpkins, make snowmen, snowball fights, as hot as nanjing
3.find the same rule of the following sentences.
a. it's colder than in nanjing.
b. your dad needs some warmer clothes for the winter in new york.
step6. 逐句模仿跟讀課文一遍后，獨立完成課后的填空練習(xí)。七.板書設(shè)計unit5 the seasons
