3A Unit4 Goodbye! 口語測試
first i’d like to say something about the teaching contend and the aims of the lesson:oxford english offers ample language input covering a wide range of subjects. the topics are well organized focusing on the students’ world. to avoid making it a boring lesson, i re-organize the lesson by introducing some sentence patterns to the students first; then elicit dialogues. i can see, making dialogues can be something interesting to students. consolidating drills will be in the next period.
the aims of the lesson are:
1. the ss can understand and say the communion parlance :“get up ,go to school ,go home,go to bed ,good bye , see you, good night.”
2. to encourage the ss to talk in english .
the difficult points:
the ss can understand and say the communion parlance :“get up ,go to school ,go home,go to bed ,good bye , see you, good night.”
second, my way of teaching
the four guiding principles for the lesson:
it should be a student-centered class. i shall be a guide to encourage student-autonomy and teacher-student interactions.
it takes a communicative approach. the goal of teaching is to make students aware that they are masters of learning and need put the language into use. to realize this, it is necessary to help students understand what is being taught. then they will be given some initial drills.
it should give full play to the three key roles of a class------the teacher, the students and the textbooks.
it should go beyond the textbook boundary. there should be a number of extension exercises to make the language happen in an authentic situation. for instance, ask the students to tell the class in english what they like and explain why.
i’m going to take the following procedures:
step1 warm-up
i begin the lesson with english songs. such a kind of opening can bring me closer to the students and help set up the atmosphere for language learning.
step 2 presentation
to present the sentences ,i will show a clock and say “ look ,it’s six o’clock . get up now. the students learn the sentences through the clock ,it can make them easily to understand the sentences.
step 3 practice
in order to practice the sentences ,i will divide the ss into groups of six.. let them read in little trains. that i can correct their mistakes at once. next play a game “ what can mike do?” a guess game can cultivate the ss’ interest in learning english so that they can remember the sentences easily.
step4say and act
in this period , i take out one sentence ,ask a student to read it out ,the others do the actions. the students are young , they haven’t enough patient to sit straight. in this way , it can avoid a boring class and make them happy.
