1)課前準備多媒體課件。
2)準備生詞卡片tired ,hot , thirsty , hungry , ill, cold.
3)準備句型卡what’s the matter ? i’m…等。

課前請學生準備一些飲料、食品、服裝、扇子等。
教學過程:(procedure)
step 1 free talk.
t: hello! , how are you today?
s: fine, thank you. and you?
t: i’m fine, too.
t: look, i have many things. here’s a/an banana/apple (some milk…).can you talk about your things?
ss use the sentence “here’s a/an/some…” to talk their things.
step 2、presentation.
s:here’s a scarf.
t: i’m cold. may i try it on?
teach and drill the word: cold
t: are you cold? let’s do some exercise.(跳兔子舞)
t: now i’m hot and tired.
teach and drill the word: hot, tired
t: are you hot and tired? let’s have a rest. listen to the song, please.
(突然停)present the sentence: what’s the matter?
listen to the song again and sing together.
t: now i’m not hot and tired. i’m thirsty.
teach and drill the word: thirsty.
work in pairs practice the sentence structures: what’s the matter? i’m … here’s …for you. thank you.
then use cai to teach “hungry, ill”
step 3 practice and consolidation
play the tape, read after the tape.
