unit 7 peter is happy today.
一、教材分析：
該單元的話題主要和“星期”有關。“星期”在以前的課文中沒有系統地出現過，所以對“星期”詞匯的教學時重點，在詞匯教學的基礎上再進行“今天是星期幾”和“明天是星期幾”句型的操練。本單元還出現了有關“生日”的句型，要求學生能理解并運用句型“今天/明天是…的生日”。此外。還可以對課文中出現的有關學科的詞匯進行拓展。
二、學生分析：
四年級學生在英語英語學習習慣、學習方法等方面還需要教師的悉心指導。教師應抓住四年級學生還比較好玩，愛動的心理，通過開展各種形式的活動幫助學生理解和掌握相關句型的表達。另外，在書寫方面，學生往往只知道句子開頭的第一個字母要大寫，所以要強調“星期”第一個字母的大寫問題。
三、教學目標：
1、能聽懂，會說新單詞sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday, today, tomorrow, happy, birthday.
2、能夠確切地表述“今天是星期幾”。
3、了解字母組合ee的讀音及詞組today and tomorrow 的書寫。
四、教學重點及難點：
重點: 能正確表述“今天是星期幾”。
難點：1、新單詞的掌握。
      2、幾個句型的表達：
      today is tuesday.
      tomorrow is my birthday.
      it is peter’s birthday.
      peter is happy today.

1、t：i’m happy today.(同時出示笑臉，幫助學生理解“happy”一詞)。 can you guess why?

   t: (出示標記了當天日期的日歷) today is my birthday. what day is it today? (對學生們解釋這句話的意思，并板書“today”) 由此引出“星期”的表述。
   ss: it’s … …
   t： yes, today is … it’s my birthday.
   板書當日的“星期”和birthday，并帶讀。
2、t：what day is it tomorrow？（板書tomorrow）
   ss: it’s …
   t: yes, tomorrow is… (板書“星期”)，并帶讀.

   s1: yes.
t: s1 is happy. are you happy, s2?
s2: yes.
t: s2 is happy, too.
3、出示peter 的頭像。
   t：do you know who is he?
   ss: he is peter.
   t: yes. now, peter is going to talk to us.
   教師假扮peter.
   p: my dear kids. today is … i’m not happy. because i have music lesson today. i don’t like music.
   教師板書“星期”和“music lesson”，并幫助學生了解和學科相關的“chinese lesson” 和“math lesson”等。
