一、 教學目標
1、 知識目標
a) 聽、說、認讀單詞warm/cool/hot/cold/weather report.
b) 聽、說、讀寫單詞warm/cool/cold
c) 聽、說、認讀句子：good morning. this is the weather report. it’s …in….
2、 能力目標
a) 能掌握單詞warm/cool/hot/cold/weather report，并能加以正確地運用。
b) 能聽懂并理解what’s the weather like? 并能作簡單的回答：it’s….
c) 能夠簡單介紹天氣情況，作小小氣象員。
d) 能說出不同天氣情況下該穿什么衣服。
3、 情感、策略、文化目標
a) 情感態度：注重培養學生學習的欲望和樂于助人的積極的情感和態度。
b) 學習策略：注重觀察、交際功能，學會觀察提問等策略
c) 文化目標：了解全國主要城市在同一時間里的天氣差異。
二、 教學重點、難點
a) 重點是理解和掌握單詞warm/cool/hot/cold/weather
b) 我國各地的天氣狀況是學生的認識難點。
c) 單詞weather report的發音
三、 教具準備
a) 教師準備一張中國地圖以及本課時所需的單詞卡。
b) 教師準備一張寒冷的雪天里饑寒交迫的賣火柴小女孩的圖片，boots圖片，兩、三片雪花。
c) 教師準備一把扇子，一個轉盤。
d) 教師準備寫有beijing/ harbin/hong kong/ lhasa的小旗幟和一根做天氣預報的指揮棒。
e) 教師準備錄音機及錄音帶。
四、 教學過程
1、 熱身—warming up
1) let’s do

[設計意圖：運用節驟感強的let’s do，營造英語學習氛圍，帶領學生不知不覺走入英語學習課堂，并起到復習舊知，鋪墊作用。]

2、 新課呈現（presentation）
1) t: hi, class. we have a new friend today. guess? who is she? look!(教師呈現寒冷雪天里饑寒交迫的賣火柴小女孩) yes. she is a match girl. a poor girl. let’s say hello to match girl.
ss: hello ! match girl!
t: class, look at the picture. oh, it’s…(教師呈現單詞卡cold，學生學說cold. 接著呈現句子卡it’s… 繼而教師邊做冷狀邊說) cold cold it’s cold.
ss: (tpr) cold cold it’s cold.
2) t: class, look at the picture. (教師呈現句子教學)what’s the weather like?
ss: it’s cold.
t: oh, my poor girl. she feels …(ss:cold). i can help her. hello! match girl! you can put on the boots.(教師出示圖片boots并給match girl 穿上) can you help her?
(s1/s2…): hello match girl. you can put on the sweater/jacket/pants/…..
t: now, match girl feels not cold. she feels ….(教師做溫暖狀，出示單詞卡warm) warm warm it’s warm.
ss: (tpr) warm warm it’s warm.
3) t: look! it’s snowing and snowing. what can match girl do? match girl! you can jump. can you help her?

t: match girl feels …(教師出示單詞卡hot，讓學生讀出，教師示意學生做熱狀)

[設計意圖：教師創設賣火柴小女孩寒冷冬天里的情境，呼吁同學們幫助，并適時進行情感培養。賣火柴小女孩聽取大家的建議，從而構設了一個賣火柴小女孩感知冷--暖—熱—涼的過程。完成新授。讓學生在不斷滾雪球一樣的學習中獲取新知，鞏固舊知，大量練習語言。]
3、 鞏固和延伸（consolidation and extension）
1） 看誰反應快 （look and say）

[設計意圖：運用競賽機制，鞏固復習所學的內容。]

2) 你猜我猜（轉轉盤）
游戲規則：教師把轉盤正面向大家，然后轉動轉盤，接著迅速地把轉盤反面，使轉盤背對學生，然后讓學生猜：what’s the weather like in….? s1: it’s warm in ….
[設計意圖：“游戲是孩子們最好的朋友”運用游戲調節課堂，并不知不覺吸引孩子到it’s … in ….的語言練習中。提高學生的積極能動性。]

3) 聽力 （listening）
