2. 閱讀指導：
首先，閱讀短文，整體把握短文大意。
其次，分析有空格的每個句子，看空格處的意思，聯系所給單詞的意思，進行綜合分析，確定空格處應填的單詞。例如：第一空，由下文“在那座城市里有更多的工作”，可知本空填live“居住”一詞。
最后，再通讀一遍短文，看是否通順合理。

2. 寫作指導：
 本文為寫自己未來20年后的生活情況。
 因此，時態應用一般將來時態（will + 動詞原形）；
 首先，可根據在3b中的提示，介紹一下自己打算的工作、及生活的地點、自己的業余活動等情況。
然后再展開自己想象的翅膀，對自己的生活環境及其他方面大膽想象，并寫出來。
 最后，通讀一遍短文，重點檢查一下各句子的時態及語句是否通順。
3. 學生們根據寫作提示，及上面表格中的提示來寫作這篇文章。

1. discuss how a robot will help students with schoolwork in the future. write down your group’s ideas and draw a picture of your robot.

4. at last, let some ss talk about their robots and pictures of the robots.

work on self check 1: 
1.   put the words in the correct columns in the chart.
2.  make sure ss know what they should.
3.  引導學生們復習more/fewer/less 的用法： 
more后面可跟可數名詞或不可數名詞；
fewer后面跟可數名詞；
less 后面跟不可數名詞；
4. 學生將以上單詞分類，并校對答案。
5. 學生們可以試著多增加一些單詞，并將它們填寫在方框中。

  (1. be;  like在本句中是介詞，意為“像”，因此本句中缺少be動詞，句中有情態動詞will，故應用be動詞的原形。)
