* make的復合結構
1) make+賓語+名詞使……in 1849, marx went to england and made london the base for his revolutionary work. 1849年，馬克思到了英國，把倫敦作為從事革命工作的基地。
2) make+賓語+形容詞使… they have made their home-town rich. 他們已使家鄉富有了。/ the policemen have made it clear that he is a thief. 警察已弄清楚他是個賊。
* 注意：上句it作為形式賓語代替后面that引導的從句。
3) make sb. do sth. 使某人做某事 the boss made him work 10 hours a day. 老板讓他每天工作十小時。
4) be made to do sth. 被迫做某事 the workers were made to work 10 hours a day. 工人們每天被迫工作十小時。
5) make + 賓語 + 過去分詞使某人/某事被……英語
she couldn’t make herself heard. 別人聽不到她的話。英語

1) 本句為虛擬結構，表示與現在事實相反的假設，從句用一般過去式，主句為would (或should，could，might) + 動詞原形 if i know the answer to the question, i should (would) tell you.如果我知道問題的答案，我會告訴你的。英語
2) 虛擬條件句中be的過去式一般為were。if i were you, i couldn't accept her suggestion. 如果我是你，我不會接受她的建議。
6. i'd like... (=i'd love to...；反義詞組：i'd hate to...) 我想要…… (p.3 useful expressions 右2)
本句型是should like或would like的縮略式，常用來表示“愿意”，尤其是禮貌地提出邀請或愿意提供幫助時。like后可接名詞或帶to的動詞不定式，但不接動詞-ing形式。
1) would like to do sth愿意做某事 -- would you like to go to the cinema with me tomorrow ? 明天你愿意和我一起去看電影嗎? -- yes, i'd love to. (to不能省略掉) 是的，我愿意去。注意：其否定式為would like not to do sth.
2) would like (sb.) to do sth. i would like tom to do it at once. 我想要湯姆立刻去做這件事。
3) would like sth. 要什么東西 would you like some bread or coffee? 你想要些面包還是喝咖啡?
