2. fall ill 生病 屬短暫性動詞, 不與for + 時間段連用
be ill 指生病的狀態,是持續性行為, 可與for + 時間段連用
his wife suddenly fell ill last week.
he has been ill for a week.
fall 用作系動詞,后常接形容詞.
fall asleep 睡著
fall silent 沉默不語
