4. have a gift for... 對……有天賦
[典例]
1). he has a gift for music. 他有音樂天才。
2). you have the gift/talent to learn foreign languages. 你有學外語的天賦。
[重點用法]
have a gift for (doing) sth.= have the gift to do sth. 對……有天賦；有做某事的才能
a man of excellent gifts一個非常有才華的人 a gifted/telented person 一個有天賦的、有才華的人
[練習] 翻譯句子。
1). 他天生有著講故事的才能。

5. in the distance 在遠處；在遠方
[典例]
1). we can see the mountain in the distance. 我們從遠處就可以看到那座山。
2). night fell. the hills in the distance turned dark blue. 夜色漸近，遠山變成了深藍色。
[短語歸納] distance短語：
at a distance隔一段距離；距離稍遠一些 from a distance從遠方
keep a distance別靠近 keep sb. at a distance對某人保持疏遠
[練習] 用distance的短語或介詞填空。
