（1）化妝；化裝

（1）畢竟；終究；歸根到底。常位于句末。如：
i passed the driving test after all.
（2）別忘了，后面接提醒對方要記住的事情。如：

三. 重點句型
1. how often do you hold your games?你們奧運會多久舉行一次？
how often 問某事發(fā)生的頻率。常用的答語有：every two days, once a week, at times等
how soon問某事在多少時間以內(nèi)會完成。常用in/within短語回答
---how soon will my dress ready? ---in a week.
how long問某動作或某狀態(tài)持續(xù)多久多長時間。常用for短語回答，for可省略。
---how long did you stay there? ---only two days.
2. then it was the size of a large room.當(dāng)時它有一個房間那么大
the size of在句中相當(dāng)于as large as，能用于這種結(jié)構(gòu)的名詞還有：
the length of = as long as
the width of = as wide as
the depth of = as deep as
the height of = as high as
the weight of = as heavy as
此結(jié)構(gòu)前還可以加上half, twice, three times, almost和分?jǐn)?shù)來表示程度。
this rope is half the length of that one.
3. as the years have gone by, i have been made smaller and smaller.隨著歲月的流逝，我被做得越來越小了。
（1）as引導(dǎo)時間狀語從句，表示主句與從句的動作或狀態(tài)同時發(fā)生，翻譯為“隨著……”; “當(dāng)……時候”
i saw him as he got off the train.
（2）go by = go on （指時間）過去，流逝；go by還有“遵照，依照”之意
