［析］ 形容詞加定冠詞表示一類人，作主語時要作復數看待。

［析］ riches為財富，是復數名詞，沒有單數形式。像這 樣的詞還有goods(貨物)，greens(青菜)，manners(禮貌)等。

［析］ the same that意為"即是"，而the same as才能譯為"像……一樣的。"

［析］ the same as中的定冠詞不能少。
