一、說教材
(一)、教材的地位及作用
本課是新目標英語九年級上冊第九單元的第一課時,本單元主要是圍繞著“inventions”為中心話題,讓學生學會用被動語態來談論身邊的發明如電話、電腦、汽車、茶葉、籃球以及對一些當代發明的看法;它是繼unit 3之后的再次學習被動語態,unit 3主要學習含有情態動詞的被動語態,本單元主要學習一般過去時態的被動語態,讓學生根據所學的知識,學會表達由于這些創造和發明對你生活的幫助和對生活質量的提高認識。本課主要通過熟悉我們周圍經常使用發明物的歷史來開闊眼界,學會談論發明的歷史。
(二)、教學目標
1、知識目標:①學習詞匯:invent , calculator
②學習句型:when was the car invented?
2、能力目標:弄清主動語態與被動語態的差異,并通過練習和運用加以鞏固。
3、情感目標:在學習中,學生懂得人類的科學發明創造了豐富的物質文明,培養學生的創造發明的能力和愿望。
(三)、教學重點和難點
重點:學習本單元詞匯和掌握一般過去時的被動語態的用法。
難點:如何把一般過去時態的主動語態改為被動語態。
(四)、學情分析
由于我校學生多數來自鄉村,英語學習起步晚,基礎知識薄弱,雖然經過兩年多的學習,有了一定的英語基礎知識和聽說能力,但兩級分化較明顯,部分學生因為,基礎差覺得英語越來越難而失去了學習興趣,也有些同學因為平時不懂讀單詞也不用心去記單詞,上課聽不懂而放棄了學習,但不乏存有小部分好奇心、思維能力強、求知欲旺盛者,如果教師能抓住這部分學生的好奇心,采用形式多樣的教學方法來增強學生的興趣和注意力,寓教于樂,那么他們就會排除主觀和客觀的種種消極因素,盡量全身心地投入到知識的學習中去。
(五)、教具準備:多媒體,實物,錄音機等
二、說教法
《英語課程標準》強調課程從學生的學習興趣、生活經驗和認知水平出發,倡導體驗、實踐、參與與交流的學習方式和任務型的教學途徑,發展學生的綜合語言運用能力,使運用學習的過程成為學生形成積極的情感態度,主動思維和大膽實踐、提高跨文化意識和形成自主學習能力的過程。
基于上述理論和英語課程標準學生的要求及學生的心理特點和認知發展規律,我主要采用了任務型教學法,多媒體輔助教學、情景教學法和聽力訓練法。
1、 任務型教學法
任務型的教學活動,是讓學習者通過運用語言來完成各種各樣的交際活動。學習者通過表達、溝通、交涉、解釋、詢問等各種語言活動來學習和掌握語言。
2、多媒體輔助教學
在新授單詞時,通過多媒體的一些動畫、圖片,幻燈片等進行形象教學,一方面,可以引起學生的注意從而易于記憶單詞,另一方面可以活躍教學氣氛,節省沒必要的板書。
3、情景教學法
語言的學習貴在運用。因此,在學習英語的過程中,不但要讓學生懂得一定的形式表達一定的內容,而且要讓他們學會在什么情況下使用什么樣的形式。在課堂上教師就要盡量為學生創設一定的適合學生交際的語言環境,使學生覺得不僅僅學到了知識而且可以運用知識。
三、說學法
新制定的《英語課程標準》把“培養學生學習英語的興趣,樹立自信心,培養良好的學習習慣和形成有效策略,發展自主學習和合作精神”放在了首位。依據課改的精神,我從以下幾個方面對學生進行學法指導:
1、學習方法指導
培養學生的觀察力,想象力,記憶力以及思維能力。用生動的課件調動學生的感官進行聽說讀寫的訓練。
2、學習積極性的調動
我在教學過程中創造一種開放的、和諧的,積極互動的語言氛圍,把課堂變成有聲有色的舞臺,讓學生在樂中學。
3、學習策略的指導
在課堂活動中把學生分成六人小組的學習小組,讓他們圍繞著課堂任務分工合作,在活動中相互探討,相互交流,從而獲得知識、技能和情感體驗,發展他們的能力。
四、說教學程序
step 1、 warming-up
多媒體呈現一組數字,通過復習數字,復習年份的讀法,以便學生能說出后邊發明物的年份,再由年份設疑:do you know what happened in 1876? do you want to know? 來導入新課。
step 2、presentation
用多媒體展示圖片,讓學生說英語,然后用實物學習新單詞calculator,在圖片下顯示發明物的時間,接著問:when was it invented? can you say the year? 讓學生來猜invent的含義進而學習新詞。教師根據圖片和時間引出:the telephone was invented in 1876.這是本課重點,學習一般過去時態的被動語態。再次利用圖片提問學生,如果我們要詢問這些物品是什么時候發明的應該怎么問?引出重點句型:when was it invented?,并幫助學生用it was invented in 1927.來回答.再接下來就是學生兩人一組進行對話練習,操練1c.
step 3、groupwork
多媒體展示1a 圖片,讓學生小組談論這些物品發明的時間先后順序,并給它們排序,最后再集體核對答案。引導學生學會用i think the calculator was invented before the computer.來談論它們的時間先后。
step 4、listening practice
播放錄音機,讓學生聽,再把時間和圖片匹配。播放三遍,第一遍初聽大意,第二找時間和它相對應的圖片,第三遍,核對答案。
step 5、summary
本課小結,布置作業,調查自己家里的發明查資料找出它們的發明時間及用途。

什么是被動語態呢?請先看下面兩個例子:
i open the door. 我打開門。
the door is opened by me. 門被我打開。
哦!原來表示某物被某人怎么樣的時候,我們可以用被動語態來表示。那么,被動語態是怎么構成的呢?
某物 + be 動詞 + 動詞的過去分詞 + by + 某人
1.把主動態變成被動態的方法是把動詞to be變成原來的主動態動詞的時態,再加上主動態里動詞的過去分詞。
主動態: bell invented telephones. 貝爾發明了電話機。
在這個主動態句子中,時態是一般過去時,所以,變成被動態時,首先要把to be 變成它的一般過去時形式,即:was / were。然后加上主動態里的動詞的過去分詞形式。于是就變成了:
telephones were invented by bell. 電話機被貝爾發明了。
注意進行時態的被動態。這種語態有時似乎難以使用,因為它要求用to be的現在進行時,這種形式在其他方面用得不多。
