　　本課時是9a unit 2的integrated skills。其重點是培養學生如何從閱讀和聽力中獲取顏色對人情緒影響的信息的能力以及如何綜合處理信息的能力。

　　pre-reading 要求學生每人帶一本英漢雙解字典到課堂上，利用書上的fade這個單詞來介紹如何有效地使用字典。在學生查字典前先設幾個問題，引導學生快速準確地找到問題的答案。然后把學生自己查到的fade與課本上提供的材料作一個簡單的對比，找到課本提供的fade英文釋義的相應中文解釋。這個前奏為學生閱讀材料作了鋪墊。 

　　while-reading 1. 通過reading 練習鞏固學生對查字典的掌握情況。

　　2. 學生可能在閱讀的過程中還會碰到生詞，可以用學生自備的字典查出新單詞的用法。

　　3. 講解color作動詞的用法，以及fade的用法。

　　4. 通過聽力練習再次鞏固這些重點詞匯。 

　　post-reading 通過查字典，讓學生去了解顏色可能不再是單純的標色彩，有時還蘊含了另一種情感意義表達，比如：green eye，in a blue mood，black sheep, green hand 等等�？梢宰寣W生去查找類似的常用詞組，以拓展詞匯量。

　　本部分是語言運用部分，著重培養學生的語言運用能力。通過說寫方面的訓練，不僅能提高學生語言詞匯方面的能力，而且能加強它們與用語言知識來表達思想感情的能力。本章在說部分側重培養學生訪問的談話方式，學會用表示喜好和選擇的對話句型。在寫作部分側重于以對話開頭作文的結構和篇章布局的教學，同時在教學中speaking中學到的對話技巧應用于以對話開頭的作文。

　　speaking 以課文speaking的第二部分 carrying out a survey 為主體教學內容。

　　準備一些白紙，和其他商品的無色圖片，供學生選用。

　　1. 以 “does color design affect your buying? what kind of color design might attract you most?” 兩個問題開頭，把話題引人色彩搭配。

　　2. 把班級同學分成六組，每個小組選取課本中一件商品的圖片，然后畫出同一件商品的另一張草圖，討論配色方案，小組通力合作對圖片進行兩種可能的配色設計。i would prefer to use…, i’d like to use blue…

　　3. 完成配色方案后，每組至少訪問小組之外的6個人，詢問哪個配色方案更好。which design do you prefer/like most? i prefer….

　　4. 做結論報告，學會用總結性的語言。

　　writing 本章的寫作是看圖作文的類型，但是有不是簡單的描述圖片。這個寫作練習要求以有趣的對話開頭，以吸引讀者的興趣。首先教師要強調對話的寫作在這次作文練習中的作用，同時要提醒學生顧全對話和整個寫作的關系。其次，由于寫作題材是圖片，因此要培養學生讀圖的能力，把圖片與圖片之間的內在關系和潛在的含義讀懂是有必要的。只有這樣才不至于離題太遠。在這部分采用學生互評的方式，可以提高學生的學習興趣，同時培養他們檢查語法錯誤的習慣，從而在這個過程中提高自己的能力。 《牛津英語教學參考》 page t34
