一. 技能目標
聽：listen to people introducing their class and classroom .
說：introduce their class and classroom to their friends .
情感目標：培養學生熱愛學校，熱愛自己的家園的意識；
文化意識：了解不同國家學校發展情況，了解不同國家的學校教育。
二. 學習策略
1. 讓學生能借助詞匯圖掌握單詞；
2. 關心他人的居室和生活環境，能互相介紹有關情況。
三. 教材分析
本節課以學校為話題，把焦點放在對學校的介紹上，話題貼近學生生活；新生對此介紹也比較感興趣，還可以對新學校和原來的學校進行對比，便于開展活動。
教學流程：
一. 課前預習（自主學習）
1. read the new words and discuss the pronunciation in this unit ;
2. talk about the use of “ there be ……”.
二. 課上探究
