【典型例題精析】1. fire 名詞，意為火，火災，爐火
［辨析］fire can be very dangerous. 火可能非常危險。此句解釋為火，是不可數名詞。
we make a fire in winter to get warm. 此句解釋為爐火，是可數名詞。
 2.alone:獨自，單獨  ，只能做表語，不能做定語。alone還可做副詞，意為“獨自地”，相當于by oneself.
my parents were out just now. i am alone / by myself now .

3. safe 安全的 、(adj)------safety. (n)----safely (adv)
4. dangerous adj.  危險的
the traffic is very  dangerous  for children .對孩子來說交通很危險。                 
  danger n.危險 the boy is in danger. 這孩子處在危險中。
5.visitor是由動詞visit加后綴-or構成的名詞，表示做那個動作的人，意為“參觀者”。例如：every year many visitors from abroad come to china to visit the great wall.
在英語中，可以在動詞后加-er或者-or變成表示“做那個動作的人”。例如：
teach----teacher 教師     sing----singer 歌手    drive----driver 司機    
write----writer 作者      act----actor   演員    invent----inventor 發明者
