6.happen v
(a) 發(fā)生 sth. happens to sb. 主語是發(fā)生是事,而人則做to的賓語。
what happened to her?
她怎么啦？/她 發(fā)生什么事了？
(b) 碰巧 sb. happens to do sth. 主語是人，happen后接動詞不定式。
i happened to see him on the way home.
在回家的路上我碰巧看見了他。
he happened to be at home. 他碰巧在家。
7.get better 轉(zhuǎn)好
［注意］better 這里是形容詞well 的比較級，表示身體好。
［辨析］i don't feel very well. well這里是形容詞,表示身體好
she likes music and she plays the piano well. well 這里是副詞,修飾動詞。
8.leave the stove on 讓爐子燃著
［注意］leave在這里表示“使某人/謀事一直處于某種狀態(tài)”；on 做副詞，表示在接通/使用中
［典型例句］don't leave the door open.別讓門開著。
the tv is always on when i am at home. 我在家的時候，總是開著電視。
