在愉悅的“圣誕”音樂中開始本課,創設輕松的學習氛圍并指向學習的主題;由自由談話自然談及學生生日從而自然地教授“delicious”等新單詞,學生可以聯系自己的實際生活來理解這些新單詞,為下面的學習作好鋪墊;在自然交談中初步滲透本課句型“what do people usually do on? did you … last year?”等,以舊引新,使學生更好地理解和使用本課句型。

學習課文背景與左半部分
1.聽背景部分錄音,根據錄音提問(學生提)
2.默讀左半部分課文,找出所談論的節日。
3.再讀課文,概述其內容。
4.自學右半部分內容,小組合作完成填空題,校對。
5.分角色朗讀課文,再次感知。
6. 再次操練本課句型,逐步形成有幾個來回的小語篇。

1.完成閱讀一篇
2.(機動)根據西方節日、國際性節日和中國節日的提示談論自己所知道的節日,并完成表格。
step5. homework
1.聽錄音,朗讀課文,進一步理解課文;
2.采訪你的家人并將采訪記錄寫下來。
