一.教學目標
1.能正確聽、說、讀、寫單詞和詞組plan, picnic, play, take part in.
2.能正確聽、說、讀 、寫句型what are we going to do…? we’re going to…
3.能正確聽、說、讀日常交際用語和句型is that gao shan? yes, speaking. by the way, what are you going to do…?
二.教學重點
1.能正確聽、說、讀、寫單詞和詞組plan, picnic, play, take part in.
2.能正確聽、說、讀 、寫句型what are we going to do…? we’re going to…?
三.教學難點
能正確聽、說、讀 、寫句型what are we going to do…? we’re going to…?并能靈活運用。
四.課前準備
1.多媒體課件， 圖片若干，玩具電話一部，錄音機一臺
2.預先板書課題unit6 planning for the weekends.
五.教學過程
step1: listen to a song: will you join me?

t: what day is it today?
s: it’s friday.
t: what day will be tomorrow?
s: tomorrow is saturday.
t: saturday and sunday are weekends. what do you usually do at the weekends?
s: i usually do my homework at the weekends.
t: what are you going to do this weekend?
s: i’m going to visit my grandparents.
t: by the way, who are you going with? / where are your grandparents living?
教師再問類似的幾個問題, 學生回答,讓學生感知詞組by the way作為插入語在句中的位置并學習該詞組
t: what is liu yang going to do this weekend? let’s ask him.
ss: liu yang, what are you going to do this weekend? 該生回答
l: i’m going to go on an outing with my parents.
2. practise in pairs by using the sentence pattern“what are we / you going to do… we are going to…”并在此基礎上復習b部分的詞組

t：how does david spend this weekend ? what is he going to do this weekend? let’s have a look.
教師出示david與gao shan打電話的圖片, 圖上可有日歷顯示是周六, 并顯示天氣暖和, 陽光燦爛.
① 學生看圖自由描述和交流.
② 聽錄音回答問題: who are they? what day is it today? what’s the weather like today? what are they talking? 在回答問題中學習單詞plan
③ 跟讀介紹部分.
解釋句子the children don’t have school today. 讓學生明白have school 與have class的區別.

教師呈現表格, 學生一邊聽錄音一邊填寫.
