2. 引導學生用 what's your name?互問姓名，練習“what's”。
3. 出示本課的人物圖片，示范：this is yang ling. that's gao shan.
出示水果類圖片， 引導學生用this is a... that's a ... it's a...造句。

step 2 presentation and practice:
1、 出示文具類圖片（pen, book等學過的單詞）
讓學生造句：this is a... that's a... it's a...
2、 出示一只書包
t: what's this?  t: it's a school bag.
出示單詞 a school bag 并領讀(要求拼會拼寫單詞)
t: what's this in english?
出示詞組 in english 并領讀(要求拼會拼寫單詞)
t：what's this in english?
同法教其它文具類單詞(a crayon, a tape, a knife)，并板書
3、 t：（放一支蠟筆在講臺上，走遠一點）
t: what's that in english?
幫助區分this, that 的用法。
4、 某學生拿一物品在遠處
t: excuse me, . what’s that in english?
t: thank you.  出示 excuse me 并領讀, 解釋其用法，表示打擾別人。
重復對話，引出oh, i see.
5、 出示本課所學的文具、玩具單詞，師生問答練習。
a: excuse me, what's this/ that in english?
b: it's a ...
a: thank you./ oh, i see.
t：now, ask and answer in pairs.
s: 同桌操練句型。

step 3  look and say：
1、 第一幅圖：小女孩指著自己手里訂書機好奇地問男孩。
a: what’s this in english?
b: it's a stapler.
2、 第二幅圖，小女孩指著遠處桌子上形狀有些特殊地削筆器問小男孩。
 a: what’s that in english?/ what’s that on the desk?
b: it's a pencil sharpener.
3、    第三幅圖，小女孩指著近處椅子上的一本故事書問男孩。
a: what’s this in english?/ what’s this on the chair?
b: it's a storybook.
4、 第四幅圖，小女孩指著稍遠處的玩具小火車問男孩。
 a: what’s that in english?
b: it's a toy train.

step 4  consolidation
1.  listen to the tape and repeat.
2.  play a game: " magic ears”
游戲規則：教師說本課單詞，不發出聲音，僅讓學生看口型，學生根據教師口型猜測是什么單詞。go hunting 。
