教材簡析:
本單元在what’s this /that ?的基礎上,進一步引導學生運用一般疑問句is this/ that ……? 去確認周圍的常見的事物。為配合 “認物”這一功能項目的展開,本單元所教詞匯也可以日常生活中的一些常見物品為主。應注意的是,問句中的this 或that 在回答時要用it 替代,以避免重復。
教過may i come in ?后,教師可要求學生在每次進入教師辦公室或上英語課遲到時,堅持用“may i come in ?” 代替漢語的“報告”,教師也應用come in ,please .回答。

a. 教師出示一個包,把要學單詞的實物與文具放在包里讓學生摸一摸 ,猜一猜 ,指名上臺摸,教師問what’s in my bag ? it’s ……或問what’s this in english ? 這樣逐一學習上面四個單詞 ,教師讀,開火車,拼讀。

a. 教師拿著一本書問:is this a book ? 重復兩次,示意學生用yes ,it is .再拿其他東西反復練幾次。
b. 教師拿著一本抄寫本問:is this a book ?引導學生用no ,it isn’t .it’s a copybook .再利用才學的單詞練習。
c. 編歌謠。(打上節拍)
