very good. come on, boys and girls. where is the clock/ where are the clocks?
teach “clocks” with the card twice. / // / clocks, / // / clocks. c-l-o-c-k-s, clocks, c-l-o-c-k-s, clocks. (read together)
where are the clocks? (quickly twice, slowly once). listen and get the answer.
check the answers by asking the individual students and cai (really? let’s have a look!) .
let them practice with the other three pictures.
(teacher writes the sentence patterns: “a: where are the…? b: they’re …” in different colors.)
look around our classroom. where are the …? they’re in the classroom”
3、are they…? yes, they are./ no, they aren’t.
now, let’s go to another room. listen to me. if i’m right, you say “yes, they are.” if i’m wrong, you say “no, they aren’t. ok? let them read the sentences and hand out some sentences.
teacher uses the sentence pattern “the table’s in the room. the bed is too.”
now, let’s go out of the room and put the things in the room.

(2)let students look at the sentence pattern and ask. teacher answers.
(3)tell somebody in a low voice and let him answer.

4、a chant
everything is here, in the room, now. this time let me ask you some questions.
can you read? (for the three sentence patterns, teacher writes once and let students read them three times.)
this is sarah’s home. what can you see from the window? (從窗外往里看能見到什么? i can see the bookcase and the books)

put up another pictures on another three doors and make a chant.

repeat the chant twice and let students chant.
4、learn the dialogue

so, now let’s read a book. open your books. turn to page … and read after the tape twice. read into two parts.(boys play john, girls play mom).
